[You know, with all the bullshit happening in the house, all the craziness, it's good to see a friendly face. Not... the one he knows, but hey. This isn't about him.]
[This is about the Inquisitor. Just like always. About what someone else needs. If neither Dorian nor Sera knew him... hell. Someone's got to be the one to go to bat. At least the Inquisitor he knew was an elf too.]
[So yes. That hug will happen. Complete with hoisting the smaller man up off the ground. And crushing him up against the big qunari chest.]
[That’s the way a hug is supposed to be! Crushing and with minimal ground contact. Lavellan would have accepted no less.
Despite only being gone from Thedas a few days, he’s already missing it. This new place hasn’t been particularly stressful to get used to, other than one or two things here and there, but it’s still unfamiliar. Bull is not. And at least one stable thing between worlds in the form of a big scary Qunari? That’s nice. That’s really nice.
It did. Thank you. [And it honestly, really did. The network and phone and whatnot are pretty cool inventions but… nothing beats seeing someone in person.]
I don’t know what I’d do without you looking out for me and providing me emergency hugs.
[I mean. He’d probably get by. But it’s the sentiment that counts, right?]

No. I'm the Iron fucking Bull. I don't do cute shit.
[That's a lie. He totally does. All the time.]
no subject
[Yeah, he's not buying it. Cutie.]

... but if you need somewhere to crash for a while, boss, we've already got plenty of people coming and going. One more won't hurt.

Speaking of, which city are you in, Bull?
no subject
Uhh... Nonah. House number 5. You can tell by the number of cats wandering around.

Hey, stick your head out the window! See if you can see me!
no subject
[Skitterskitterskitter]
Where are you? Which way am I looking?
no subject
[The one Kaneda was trying to repair the other night. And Bull just up and replaced while the kid was asleep.]
That wasn't my fault, by the way.
no subject
[Jokes though. He believes him. Mostly.]
I see it! I'm waving from the second floor, can you see me?
[Yup.]
no subject
[And then he stopped headbutting things.]
Uhhh... maybe. What color's your house?
[perfect]
no subject
Uh... [Gonna have to lean out the window to figure that out.] It's brick. Red brick.
no subject
[A pause.] Oh! Hey! I see you!
[And. That doesn't look... like the boss he knew. Well. That's kind of a shock. But not one that needs to get brought up any time soon.]
no subject
Hang on, I'm coming down. And I expect you so put away the tough mercenary act long enough for a hug.
no subject
All right, all right... I guess my reputation can survive a bit.
no subject
[And a minute later tiny mcelf is outside, jogging across lawns to Bull.]
The Iron fucking Bull! [Arms open and ready for that hug, buddy.]

Buuuut…] Alright. You can put me down now.
no subject
[Hell, this Inquisitor's from home, that's all that matters.]
[And yes he puts the elf down, carefully.]
That do it for you?

Heh. Don't worry, boss. Anything you need -- you know the Bull is there.
